Block Parquetry

Block parquetry is the traditional choice for parquetry flooring in Perth homes, with large blocks perfectly complementing any design feature in your home or business. Typically ranging in size from 225mm to 500mm long, the blocks are manufactured to your specifications and laid individually on site to create the desired look whether it be in a herringbone, chevron or square on square pattern.

Block parquetry is available in most popular Australian and international hardwood species including Blackbutt, Jarrah, Tasmanian Oak, European Oak and Maple. Contrasting colours are often used within the same floor to create depth in the design.

Mosaic Parquetry

The second of our Perth parquetry flooring options, Mosaic parquetry is an intricate design of small timber fingers, typically about 20mm x 130mm in size, and is most commonly seen on indoor sporting courts.

Planet Timbers are one of very few Australian timber suppliers who maunfucture mosaic parquetry for large scale projects, smaller extensions or repair jobs. Our mosaic parquetry is hand crafted in house with every finger sawn, sized, graded and assembled into panels.

Available in five, six or seven finger patterns, our mosaic parquetry is generally produced using Australian hardwoods such as Blackbutt, Jarrah, Tuart and Karri, however can be custom manufactured using any species provided the feed stock is available.
